Looking for cozy — or moody! — winteresque novels with compelling plot and sumptuous prose to fatten my reading appetite for the holidays. In the last couple years I've really loved Ninth House and Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo and Starling House by Alix E. Harrow. The Night Circus was also an excellent winter read. Genre doesn't matter, and it can even be dark (as at least two of these titles are), as long as it summons that warm-your-bones-by-the-fire kind of feeling. Thanks in advance!
