For example, I recently read Moll Flanders and The Ordeal of Richard Feverel because E. M. Forster mentioned them in Aspects of the Novel. I’m also about to dive into Raymond Carver’s books because Stephen King mentioned him in The Bazaar of Bad Dreams. I hadn’t heard of any of these author-recommended books previously and would like some more. Please do put which author suggested them.
