Kia ora,
i've had to drop out of university because of chronic invisible illness. i am very weak, so i can't read much, but i desperately need just something to inform me on what to do or think. i'm in bed most days, and it's just so boring, i don't really have any meaning in my life right now. I need a book!!
anything about sickness, stagnation is welcome
i have a copy of the magic mountain, but frankly i do not have the energy to read that behemoth.
i think how i became a nun sounds really interesting but it is impossible to find a copy where i live, and i think reading a paperback will be a bit more engaging than digital
some of my favourites:
- donna tartt
- james baldwin
- f scott fitzgerald
- toni morrison
