Non-fiction books about naturalism, travel, or adventure?

I know this is quite a broad set of categories but I don't know how to characterize the kind of book I want otherwise. I just finsihed a very stressful college term and I'm looking to read a ton over winter break! I'm looking for a book or books about some sort of journey, whether that be a historical voyage, an encounter with new cultures, or just hiking/discovering nature. I also love Thoreau-type books. Here are some books that fall into this category that I have read and loved:

• The Wager by David Grann (one of my favorite books of all time)
• The Wide Wide Sea by Hampton Sides
• A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
• A Year in the Woods by Torbjorn Ekelund
• A Naturalist at Large by Bernd Heinrich
• Six Walks in the Footsteps of Henry David Thoreau by Ben Shattuck

I know these books kind of sort themselves into two or three categories, but any suggestions would be appreciated!
