Open to all genres, I’m looking for a book to give my niece for her birthday to promote feminism or female empowerment in general (subtle or outright). Her family is all MAGA and I want her to understand she has choices in her life that may not align with their mindset.

Fiction or nonfiction? Or does it matter? Also – has your niece expressed that she’s open to ideas outside of her family’s beliefs, or does she mostly buy it? Is she a big reader already?
