I need to buy a book for my 12 year old niece for a Christmas book exchange and could use some reccomendations.😊
She loves to read and is a strong reader, however I'd say she has lived quite a conservative/ sheltered/ privileged life. So while I know kids this age can handle some mature topics (she's read The Hunger Games which has kids forced to kill each other), I'd like to avoid anything too controversial.
She loves acting and musicals, played volleyball, and has a dog–so definitely not a requirement, but might be fun if I can find a good book that incorporates her interests. Also not a requirement, but im thinking something Christmasy/Wintery could be nice.
