Hi, I have been trying to educate myself some more on various geopolitical situations. I am looking for books that are easy to follow. For example, I have enjoyed reading Joby Warrick. I think he explains events well from the start. On the contrary, I can't keep up while reading Black Wave by Kim Ghattas. It feels like homework. I am happy to learn about anything really. Thank you

Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall is a great choice for readers who enjoy Joby Warrick’s writing style because it provides an introduction to geopolitics in a simple and straightforward way. The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan also provides a high-level summary of how global politics has developed over time. The Power of Geography and Worth Dying For (a book on flags of nations) both provide an easy way to learn about the geopolitics of a region.
