I don’t exactly know what type of book I like ,haven’t really read much apart from manga, I’m a big movie guy and I’ve been wanting to getting into reading but I don’t know where to start,I like things like marvel ,dc,star wars, Pokemon etc. Typical teenager boy stuff . Can yall help?

The Percy Jackson books are a good start. Good story and battle scenes.
I’d say Project Hail Mary and the Red Rising are great
OP check out the Lies of Locke Lamora. Master conman pulls off a heist in high society with his best friend and crew, The Gentlemen Bastards; involves the town’s mob, weird magic, and a whole criminal underground comprised of a religious order of thieves. Has sequels if you want but wraps the original story up all in one book.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (the books are pretty different from the movies)
