I realized earlier today that I haven't cried from a book in years. Granted I haven't been reading as often as I used to, but I think it would be good to read something just so incredibly sad and upsetting to find some catharsis.
The last books I remember crying about were The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and Night by Elie Wiesel. This was a couple years ago, but I did thoroughly enjoy both of them, the book thief especially.
Any genre is fine, but I have an affinity for both science and historical fiction.
Thanks!
