I’ve read Tender Is The Flesh and The Laws Of The Skies recently and I’m craving more. I want a book that will fully disturb me. Maybe even make me stop reading it for five minutes because I can’t believe what I just read. Something like those two books or Geek Love, which is on my list.

    Thank you!

    1. “Sister, Maiden, Monster” by Lucy A. Snyder is a gross-out body horror with Lovecraftian themes. One of the first horror novels I’ve read that felt informed by Covid.

    2. Aggressive-Clock-275 on

Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. So fucked up. I have to say it was too out there for me to really enjoy, but can appreciate the writing and creativity.
