Looking for fantasy/sci-fi books with with a male MC that have a romance subplot but not pure romance books.
The books that I would like them to be similar to are the reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson and the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. I enjoyed the fantasy elements of both as I’m not the biggest high fantasy fan (though if there is a high fantasy similar I’m ok with that) and I also enjoyed the slower burn romance in both series. Thank you!
Also if there are just any good non-high fantasy books with a good romance subplot recs I would appreciate those as well even if they aren’t to similar to the reckoners or Percy Jackson.
