I’ve been slowly using Reddit more and thought I’d take to this subreddit in hopes of finding some self help books for my needs.
I’m in search of:
1) a self help book about dealing with anger management, but specifically like internalized anger. I’m not someone that lashes out, I instead will often shut down and not communicate with the person I’m in conflict with when I get angry.
2) a self help (or honestly, any genre) book about overcoming the mentality that I deserve to suffer/suffering equates to being deserving of more. I was raised LDS and am no longer religious, so something that maybe touches on the bad things that stick with someone when leaving a religion?
I’m honestly typically hesitant of the self help genre but am really open minded for what book may help meet these needs of mine. Thank you!!
