I was never a good reader, specially after uni. But I’d like to pick up a book and be consistent with it. I watched a youtube video where it might be better to start with classics, so maybe suggestions of classics?
I like the idea of reading fictional books that are based or inspired by true event, but from a very normal/ordinary people point of view. For example, if the book is about Napoleon, its written from his butler’s POV how he sees Napoleon. Or if the book is about the certain time period, its written from family who are going through the hardships and how the decisions from up top, actually implemented their daily life, how they are following through the orders etc.
