Based on the pieces of literature you have listed, I would recommend The Perks of Being A Wallflower even though I’m willing to bet you have come across this at some point or another. Another book I would recommend (though I’m unsure if it meets your requirements) would be A Little Life. I would take a look at the content warnings beforehand if I were you because it is very trauma heavy, and as some would argue, just trauma porn. But I feel like the writing was beautiful and realistic enough for me to be able to swallow my discomfort over the trauma heavy parts. That being said, a lot of people do not like this book and I can see why, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt!
**Glorious Exploits** fits the bill. It is about the role of storytelling and incorporates literature/plays. Seems light on the surface, but it’s a deep book.
