Hey everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations of books in the same lane as what I write: short, character-driven urban fiction with a touch of futurism. Anything with coming-of-age themes, internal conflict, or world-building that’s grounded but slightly forward-looking.
If anyone here reads in that space, I’d love to hear what authors or titles you’d suggest. I’m also open to talking with readers who enjoy that style since I just released a novella in that lane.

I read this quite recently! Although it’s not exactly what you’re looking for it’s a great book with a touch of futurism and coming of age.
I personally would normally not choose this type of book but I’m glad I read it as it helped me visualise how vulnerable the majority of people are.
