It's the Christmas season! I'm looking for a gift for my mother-in-law. She's a very avid reader and I'm determined to find a book she hasn't read. Can anyone recommend obscure / overlooked books that I could buy her? (Though, like, not so obscure I couldn't find it at a bookstore.)
She likes dystopian fiction, mysteries, and thrillers; she's not really into sci-fi but she likes GoT and Rings of Power. Please nothing with sex scenes. ;

The Poison Artist by Jonathan Moore
The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K LeGuin
The Armillary Papers by Ehrhardt. You’ll have to get it from the author’s site, but it’s worth it—a wild mystery experience.
