Hi everyone!
I have just finished reading Takashi Matsuoka's novels, and I loved them so much I don't know what to do with myself, because he hasn't written anything else and I am craving more. So, I would like to ask if anyone has recs for something similar.
His 2 novels were set in 1860s Japan, following a young, visionary lord named Genji who allies with a group of foreigners as the country faces violent upheaval during the end of the samurai era. Blending intrigue, mysticism, and political tension, it explores the clash between tradition and change through fast-paced action and intersecting destinies.
I have already read Shogun a while ago, but I didn't like it very much.
Thank you in advance to anyone who will reply.
