Can someone recommend me light read books that still give pretty technical knowledge? Books like "Code" by Charles Pretzold or "How to read numbers" by Tom Chiver. They aren't textbooks, but they still give a good overview of their topic. I really like these type of books, but I don't really know what they are called, it's like a mix of technical knowledge + written in an entertaining way like a fiction book. If anyone has any recommendations of similar books in math, electrical engineering/physics, compsci or neuroscience, please share them. Thank you.

Maybe “but how do it know?” By J. Clark Scott, which is kind of written similarly to code.
