Can anyone suggest a great book about drugs/drug culture/drug trafficking/high functioning addicts/addiction/prescription pill abuse/covert drug abuse in motherhood/adderall….etc.! I feel like I’ve read them all.
The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch also by Philip K. Dick

Have you read _On Speed: From Benzedrine to Adderall_ by Nicolas Rasmussen? It’s non-fiction, but very engaging.

The One by Paul Reed.
Caution, written in Scots vernacular, so pretty impenetrable to most, but utterly riveting to those who can access it

Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic by Sam Quinones and then the follow up The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth
Both are well written, and both fascinating and harrying at the same time.
Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty Patrick Radden Keefe is another really good read.

Rachel Nuwer’s *I Feel Love: MDMA and the Quest for Connection in a Fractured World* was a really interesting read–I discovered it through Adam Conover’s interview with her on his podcast.
