Hello! I’d like to expand my narrow understanding of a “successful life” by reading about people who broke away from their office jobs to start a less conventional career, e.g. as a writer, a musician, entertainer.
I would prefer memoirs about asian people, better if it’s set in southeast asia or east asia. This isn’t a must though.
What I want to understand is their thought process when making such a switch into a path that’s “riskier” or less traditionally “safe”, as well as how it turned out for them.
