Going on a trip, hoping for some non-fiction recs I can read digitally 🙂
Some that I liked in recent reading: Miracle in the Andes, Thunder Dog, The Baby Thief, Plundered Skulls and Stolen Spirits, Mondrian: His life, His Art, His quest for the Absolute
While these are all on pretty grim topics I'm not a glutton for misery I swear xD
I like American history a lot, museum ethics, anthropology in general and stories with multiple layers to learn from (Thunder Dog covers both surviving 9/11 and growing up blind for example)
Preferably no war related recs/war story ones. Might make a pass for American Civil War.
