Pretty much what the title says… I'm looking for a non-fiction book that leaves the reader with a feeling of "Well, it's not all lost" for a gift.
It doesn't have to be as broad as covering the whole world or all topics, of course; could be centered on a matter or subject.
Not a hard requirement but plus point if the author is female.
