I have a dear friend. Recently we talked about monarchies and she told me: “Oh man, I’d love to read up on the Habsburgers!”
I found a well liked and comprehensive book about their history.
I am poor. New it’s 16$, used it’s 8. So today I asked her, that I wanted to gift her a book, would it be ok if it was used?
She basically yelled that used is totally ok and that she loves romance.
There are not much romance novels within the Habsburger Reich. I don’t know if she likes spicy romance, like “he touched her rosebuds” for the next 5-10 pages or the more superficial, non descriptive way.
On the next step of the process, I’ll just ask her which she prefers.
In either case, what would you recommend of both categories: “That’s shockingly scandalous, it makes me upset, confused and brutally horny” vs “—-“ <- this is where your imagination has to do it’s work.
