- Set in Melbourne, Australia, could be a plus

I was considoring If It Makes You Happy by Julia Olivia, but I'm unsure if the heavy romance will put her off, but otherwise she loves Gilmore Girls.
Another, My Friends – Fredick Backman, the blurb didn't engross me though.
She notably mentioned not books by I think Caroline Someone.
