This year was my first time ever reading any book in the fantasy genre.
Normally, I read more classics or Gothic literature. One of my favourite books of all time is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.
I turned away from fantasy because I’m someone that really likes character driven stories and I always thought fantasy was very plot based (which I now know isn’t always the case).
I read the whole ACOTAR series and I’ve been going through most of Sarah J Maas’s work.
I really like romance books and was wondering where a good starting point is for romantasy?
I don’t love dragons, I do love fae/fairy and ocean/mermaid/siren.
