I've always wanted to read a bunch of books but the stuff the bookstore in my city has are just corny short stories, so give me some book recommendations!
I've probably read 1 proper book series and I'm pretty sure its main targets are kids and teens (i am one myself but ykwim), and that is the Vampirates book series by Justin Somper which I absolutely LOVED, I'm still obsessed with it until today.
Guess I'd say some things that interest me are fantasy elements, romance as a subgenre (or a main one, idk), and like not set in the modern world. I tend to read books like these to find inspiration for a book that I'm currently planning and writing myself lol.
Anyways, if anyone can recommend some good books like these to me that have little to no spice (I'm alright with it being implied or some tension), I'd appreciate it!
