I am looking to buy a book for my friend. Something easy to read that ideally features gay and LGBTQ+ characters. I previously got him The House in the Cerulean Sea and he loved it. I have gotten him some other TJ Klune books and he has liked all of them.

A similar tone but sci-fi instead of fantasy: A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. The entire Wayfarers series is worth reading, plus all the other stuff that Becky Chambers has written.
