This is a weird request, but maybe someone is able to help?
I always been fascinated with my aunt’s marriage and I am looking for a book with similar story. Basically, I want a mmc and fmc be much in love, but after having kids they start drifting apart. I want mmc to have affair and then fmc sleeps with someone as a revenge, but she falls for her lover and planning to leave her mmc. Mmc is arogant and doesn’t really care what’s she’s doing and ignores when she says she’s leaving him for her lover. Mmc is holding back his real feelings and deep inside he doesn’t want her to leave him, but he’s too proud to stop her until she’s at the door with her suitcases, ready to leave. Then he stops her, go on his knees and begs her for forgiveness.
I know it’s very specific, but I was always fascinated with their story and wanted to read something similar.
