Hello, I am doing thorough research aiming to understand the psychology behind why mothers don't believe their abused children. Why do they turn a blind eye despite being aware of the abuse happening? Why do mothers side with their abusive partners more than their abused kids?

Research papers might be a better bet. If you go to a library you might be able to access jstor which will have everything, then you can pay a bit to print the papers you want to read
