This hasnt really been the case for a long time. The Diamond Age and Cryptonomicon were the big ones.

My main gripe with him is that Seveneves should have been two novels, and I would have preferred more of the second part and less of the first.

I appreciate the dude in the comments who seems to have figured out what the original paragraph said and how it got to accusing Stephenson of “literally” ending his book mid sentence.

I’ve never had a problem with his ending, some have a very defined point, others are extremely open, but I think it fit teh book fine.
