I’m looking for really old school stories for my baby and I to read together. None of the new books that’s coming out now just stuff that was out in the 90s etc..
I remember Bernstein Bears. Any other suggestions?
I liked the Serendipity Books and the Sweet Pickle Books

For my toddler nephew, I’ve been looking up old episodes of Reading Rainbow for inspiration.
I’ve also given him a few different read-aloud collections, like one from Beatrix Potter and one by Margaret Wise Brown.

The Critters books maybe? Where the Wild Things Are is my favorite children’s book (Sendak is just good in general). Stephen King just did a Hansel and Gretel book with old Sendak illustrations. Not sure how actual childreny it is as I haven’t read it yet. lol Maybe the Mr. Men and Little Miss books (like Little Miss Sunshine, Mr. Strong, Mr. Silly, etc).

Anything by Sandra Boynton.

When I am invited to a baby shower, I always take the same book: Go, Dog. Go! by PD Eastman. I have a copy of my own, and sometimes I read it just because it’s awesome.
