I gift my great nieces/nephews books for Christmas. I like them to be published this year, and popular but not too popular that they might already have them.
Looking for some ideas for a middle school boy. Small rural town kid but parents are moderate liberal book loving people so not super strict on content within reason. He is not a natural reader, but gifted. Likes nerd stuff but also played football for the first time this year. He read Jurassic Park this summer to discuss with his mom who read it at the same time. (He’s a big fan of the franchise)
