For the last few months I was binging as much brandon sanderson as I could to get ready for his convention dragonsteel nexus, had a ton of fun but its a LOT of writing, at the end there to catch up I had to read two stormlight books in two weeks and it kinda broke my brain lol. Now that the convention is over (had a great time btw) I want to take a break and read something VERY different, but also the convention still got me super into a fantasy mood.
So I'm looking for something that is fantasy, but very different from sanderson, do you have any recommendations?
My big thing I'd like is something with more beautiful language. Sanderson has talked about making his language as clear as possible to get his story across, and I respect that, but after so much of his writing I really something that's a bit more… writerly I guess would be the word. Someone who really makes a point of making their use of language beautiful instead of just writing as a manner to get their story across.
I don't know how to say this without sounding pretentious and like I don't like sanderson, which isn't true as I really like his writing, but he clearly works hard to make sure you don't need to think that much while he writes (other then solving the mysteries and figuring out character dynamics and lore) and I really want something that makes me HAVE to think. the kinda thing I'll have to really spend time on; reread paragraphs, spend time processing, etc..
Do you have any recommendations?

Sanderson usually has Hard magic systems, (where the rules of magic are clearly communicated). to me then, the opposite is a Soft magic system, like Lord of The Rings.
