Suggest me a book or two written in Italian or a good book translated to Italian

My uncle is learning Italian and is mostly fluent now, and when asking him what he wants for Christmas, he said books in Italian. Either English books translated to Italian, or books/stories in Italian by Italian authors. He likes any genre of fiction books except sci-fi. Thank you!
