Need an old children’s futurism book from the 1980’s about smart homes?

Hi. I am doing a project on smart homes, and how they evolved and also how some of the stuff predicted for them, didn't come to pass.

The book should either be from the 1980's or 1990's-no later and have colorful illustrations for children.

I am well aware of the books published by Neil Ardley but I was hoping for something JUST on smart homes.
