Books that’ll be engraved into my mind?

I've recently finished Blood Meridian(before it I read the road), I'm near finishing the trial and I've read metamorphosis, I've read Dune till God Emperor and at last 1984 and Animal farm. These books are engraved into my mind, certain phrases and paragraphs, characters and world, this stuff from these novels is fucking unforgettable. Any suggestions for more books like that? I'd prefer it they have a little tradegy or something like a memorable villian or a brutal world.
