I'm watching Adventure Time, and I'm already preparing myself for the end of the show, even though I'm only on Season 6. So I was thinking, besides the comics of the show, is there a book that is extremely similar to Adventure Time?
- Two friends searching for adventures while they try to be heroes in a fantasy or scifi world, with a lot of magic or tech. Basically a duo with a dynamic similar to Finn and Jake, best friends who want to go on quests, or look for quests, and end up stumbling into bizarre creatures, strange places, and all kinds of ridiculous or dangerous situations.
- The book needs to be funny but it needs to have heartful moments, grownup and some dark lore like The Lich. I’m also into that combination of silly everyday humor, random side quests, emotional lore drops, and a world that’s actually pretty lore-heavy underneath all the jokes.
- It needs to be Novel, not graphic novels
I know its very specific, but I'm in love with the show
