Looking for recommendations, most recently, I’ve read Arc of a Scythe series, Rebel Planet (great book by a new author that I ran into at the library), and The Gentlemen Bastards series. All of which I’ve really enjoyed.
Just hunting for something new, especially a trilogy. I also enjoy murder mysteries. 😀

Farseer, first law.
For a fun fantasy murder mystery, check out The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett.
For a strange sci-fi(?) murder mystery, check out The City & The City by China Mieville.
For a wild, off-the-rails, dark urban fantasy/horror/mystery novel, check out The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins.
Riyria Revelations by Michael J Sullivan is a fun, underrated, fantasy series you might enjoy, starting with Theft of Swords (The Crown Conspiracy/Avempartha). It follows a ‘rogues-for-hire’ duo in a classic-feeling fantasy world, who are set up on a job and pulled into something bigger than they were expecting. It starts fairly light/low stakes, but grows into a pretty epic series, with a great cast of characters, rich world building, decent banter, and lots of twists and ‘revelations’ throughout. If you enjoy it, the multiple prequel series are also all worth checking out after Revelations (Legends of the First Empire, Riyria Chronicles).
