I'm looking for a book that touches on the basics of genetics. I've never taken this kind of course and don't plan to make a career switch or anything of the like, but I would love to learn more about it as it's something very interesting to me.
I'd like to learn about how genes are passed down, how DNA works, what recessive and dominant genes and these basics mean/work.
As I don't have any kind of background on the subject I'm looking for something that doesn't dwell too much on the technical aspects of it.
