    I miss the past me who always had a book tucked in my bag. I was reading on the train, while waiting for water to boil, you name it. These days? Thanks to work, I’m lucky if I can stay awake for 20 minutes with a book before bed.

    Still, I really want to make those 20 minutes count. I want to read something calming, interesting, and easy to ease into. Something cozy, atmospheric, or maybe a little offbeat. I think vibe is the point! I recently enjoyed The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa, The Summer Book by Tove Jansson, and Goodbye, Vitamin by Rachel Khong. I really like these kind of books.

    Fiction or nonfiction are both fine. Short chapters, a little humor, or quiet sadness are all welcome. Just want to fall into a page or two before bed and feel like I’ve visited a softer world for a little while. Please recommend books to me!!!
