Hi all. Recently I read "The Chaos Machine" by Max Fisher and got extremely interested in the related topics. I've read multiple reddit posts regarding suggestions of book on social media, but I feel like most of them talk about stuff like "dopamine addiction", "focus", "wasting time" and etc.
I'm more interested in the darker side of social media. Stuff like how it creates, influences and promotes extremism, white supremacy, political games, sex abuse and etc.
I've heard about one suggestions ("Going Dark: The Secret Social Like of Extremists", by Julia Ebner), but read reviews explaining that they feel like this book only exposes how do extremists talk, instead of talking about their effects, how were they formed and etc.
Any suggestions?
