    Hi all!

I’m coming out of a 5 year reading slump. I find most self help books to be quite preachy and unenjoyable.

So far, I’ve managed to read (and like) –
All About Love by Bell Hooks
Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker
Phantoms in the Brain by VS Ramachandran
Body Keeps Score by Vessel van der Kolk (was quite heavy, so had to keep pausing it)

Please recommend books that are fairly easy to read, about offbeat and interesting/specific topics. So far I’ve had luck wih psychology and mental health related books but I want to expand my interests.

    Please avoid recommeding:
    – anything related to politics
    – any book about the holocaust
    – memoirs/autobiographies

    Thank you in advance!

    1. Born to run – Christopher McDougall (one of my favourite books of all time)

      Outliers – Malcolm Gladwell

Ego is the enemy – Ryan Holiday

      Stolen Focus – Johann Hari

This is your brain on music – Daniel Levitin (easier to read if you’re a big music fan)
