I'm looking to improve my script writing for dirty talk/erotica and need a few pointers to some inspiration. I'm a bit of a new reader. I've skimmed threads, heard of a few books in passing but little stand out to me. I'm looking for a specific type – not along the lines of noir, nor 50 Shades of Grey.
Something with a more emotional connection, more angst and banter between friends (although they don't have to be). Raw, indirect, slow burn, sexual tension, instant loss and talk is natural. Possibly sexy and scary; it doesn't have to be all as mentioned. I'd imagine the writing is giving similar that to the song/lyricism "Do I wanna know" by Arctic Monkeys (I hope that makes sense lol)
