Hi,
For those of you that have the early 2000s (non-mass market) paperback edition of the Earth's Children series (9780553381672 and onward, Bantham), what do you think about the quality of this edition?
They are 23 cm+ tall, but how good is the paper quality? Is it acid-free? Is the binding too tight? Does it feel like they will hold up for a relatively long-time, or am I better off trying to look for decent hardcover editions on the second-hand market (only CotCB and PoP are still available as new hardcover, the rest out-of-print)?
I have tried looking at images, reviews and YouTube videos, but not managed to find anything that answers these questions.
How do they compare to the 2010s editions from Hodder Paperback?
