I would like to learn more about the tactics of dealing with pirates and naval positioning during the Age of Sail section of history, roughly the 15th-19th century. I would like to learn how merchants and military captains dealt with pirates. I primarily am focused on learning about the naval aspect, so before pirates had a chance to board the vessel. If there are good historic books on naval warfare in general from that time frame, that works as well. Thanks for everything that you guys do!
