Hi! New here but just wanted to get some suggestions and I figured this seemed an apt place.
I have been looking for a kind of specific type of book; I like female leads and then overprotective or jealous love interests (any gender) but not ones that are… Really creepy about it. I've been looking to find suggestions through other subreddits but that lead me to at least one of those published Reylo fanfictions where they kind of write the love interest like he's going to commit serious crimes against the MC in what's supposed to be a nice simple "enemies end up having to work together" stories. This is all to say I'm not even against weirdo characters I just don't want to like, feel the need to take a shower.
If anyone has any suggestions to anything like this, please let me know! I'm open to all genres, any level of darkness or lightness or explicit nature, just prefer that in the end they get together because as much as I love chaos and destruction I need a satisfying conclusion that doesn't ruin my day, you know?
