Can someone suggest a cookbook with very very basic stuff—grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, pancakes, spaghetti, brats on the grill, etc.—that would appeal to an 11yo boy? He doesn’t like to touch ‘gross’ stuff, so looking for something super basic but not babyish. He knows how to do the aforementioned grilled cheese and eggs, but likes to have things written down. Lots of food photos would be helpful.

This is a really good one. We also have the baking one and it’s the cookbook my daughter uses the most.
Years ago I bought Clueless in the Kitchen: A Cookbook for Teens, by Evelyn Raab. It’s pretty good!
