Im tired of reading about white skinny green eyed blondies struggles in my romance books, i want a fmc of color whos not gonna show up in a messy bun and mesmerize everyone with her flat stomach. Im rly tired of problem free trauma free fmc as well, i feel like she need to understand at least what pain feels like. Maybe be neurodivergent, have adhd, anxiety…not to make the whole character or story since the main plot is still romance but just to add a little depth to it and not to be a straight up perfectly sane white woman. I wish i could give examples but i havent found at least a book yet, and i don’t mean it in the way her not being white is her entire personality, i appreciate some cultural references but her character is not supposed to be treated differently as if she had divine golden hair and deep emerald eyes like 90% of the fmc ive found. Reddit is my last chance, its so frustrating so if u have an idea plsssss help
