I've been a bit curious about the dark romance genre but it's hard to tell which books crosses the line. Any tips?
I'm fine with blood and gore. I'm fine with most bdsm stuff like bondage, whipping, being tied up. I'm fine with being helpless, stalking, chasing and abduction.
I'm NOT fine with the mmc raping or hurting the female lead or raping anyone else. If anyone else rape or have raped it needs to be quick and not too detailed. I'm not fine with child abuse or rape in any form. I'm not fine with trafficking or sex trafficking. I'm not fine with the mmc drugging the female lead. I'm not fine with necrophilia or necromancers. I'm not fine with animal abuse or beastility.
Is there any dark romance books that doesn't have these triggers or should I stay away from the genre?
