Im looking for a book about history with a speculative premise about how the age of expansionism ( European conquest) could have happened with much much less, ( i would say 0, but thats unlikely) suffering. Could we have progressed technologically and. Become a global society and how would it have looked like if the world became connected willingly so to speak. Something that may speculate a lot about a future expansion period of sorts where we do try a more wholesome collective approach. Anybody read anything like this or should I ask a history group?
